I realized that I haven't updated since August. It's just been such a bad year so far.

The cherry blossoms in Tokyo are being at peak now. I look out the window, and I see them literally dancing on the wind today.

I have something interesting to share with you. See below

"Test-pic for our brains and visual perception.
If the girl that you see turns clockwise, your right-brain is more developped. If contraclockwise - left-brain. If you mind over matter you make her turn cw and ccw whenever you want, your IQ level is high.

For all unbelievers the pic doesn't turn wigwag. It turns in one direction. But it's possible to make yourself see rotation either side."

Although I'm not sure how this is relevant to your IQ level, I find it interesting. Speaking of visual perception, gestalt psycology is also an interesting theory to read about if anyone is interested.

I haven't updated my live journal in ages, but I'm still alive in Tokyo.

Shinjuku station east exit

There was a rumour that Yasu was going to have a secret live in Shinjuku. I unexpectedly found that info like an hour before the show, and decided I'd show up in Shinjuku wherever the live was going to take place, because I could only think of a few public places in Shinjuku that have both good people density and enough space for a band to play with full amplifications. They were making a promotion video today.

BTW, I'm most likely to move to Ikebukuro so soon. I'm supposed to have a meeting with the owner of the apartment this weekend, and the result will be notified shortly after that. I'm still debating myself whether or not this is without doubt the right choice.

Here is something interesting that happened yesterday. I got to have a meeting with the chief manager of PENICILLIN. Never mind how. I don't go into details because you're going to hate me. So after an hour of conversation, he offered me a free invitation to the show that was happening that night. It was great to have an experience like this.

I didn't even have to wait in line because he put my name on the visitor list. I had only heard a few of their songs, but seeing them live was awesome, and HAKUEI was so incredibly cool.

Does anyone use Dreamweaver? Is it good? I've always used a different software but it's not very professional.

It gets like this at rush hour every week day in Tokyo...

Tokyo train system is the best. Trains come exactly on time, and they even have "people pusher".

It may be a guys instinct to want to be close to pretty girls so you could have a comfortable commuter time at rush hour, but it gets worse if you make a wrong positioning. You have to endure the oppression of being filled with Japanese stinky old bald men during the entire time. Maybe I have the advantage of being taller than most Japanese, so I can at least breathe fresher air unless I'm facing up to the back of はげ頭(bald head).

funny video that I found today

I'd be dead in 3 minutes if I tried that. Russia is such an amazing country. Even the clibming is amazing. I should visit Russia someday.

some girls on my msn/aol, they find me somewhere on the internet and send me messages everyday and night. and they start calling me stuck up and くそやろう and get upset as soon as they know I don't reply much to them.

あなたは私に一体何を求めてるのですか?って感じ。こっちだって忙しいっちゅーの。

I had a strange dream where thedaniel and venacava were playing in a band. To my surprise, Daniel was on sax, not guitar. venacava was singing. It was kind of cool.

I went to see sakura today. Last week was so cold but it was a beautiful weather today. Seemed like the weather finally made up its mind.

Interesting things that I found today;

The song is crappy and the front two men suck at singing. But that kinda shows what japan's pop music industry is like. Yngwie always rocks, btw.

I'm not dead yet! It's been like 6 months since my last decent update. So much has been happening the last few months and I've been busy with work and my band, and school. I had my last exams 2 weeks ago, which I'm pretty sure I passed, but I still have a huge fear of failure...Yesterday was kind of funny. It was a warm rainy day, and it reminded me of japanese tsuyu. I want spring to come, but now I have a lot of things to deal with.

I've decided to move to Tokyo. I don't know when but I'll do my best to move there. In other news, I got webcam! You should get one because it's fun. Here's a clip of me playing around on my new guitar. and yes, it's JEM! I bought it last month.

It's 16MB. Save the target if you can't see it well ^ ^

I'm trying to buy a Morley 9v power supply, however any dealer in Japan doesn't have it. I've tried to buy one from online shops in the States but they won't ship abroad. I also thought about having it shipped to someone in the US and then from there have it shipped to me but that'd be a lot of trouble.

Could anyone buy one and send it to me? I'll send you back something really nice in return.

It's a Morley 9V 300mA Regulated Power Supply. The price is something between $14~$19.

Email me at mr_firestrings (at) yahoo (dot) co (dot) jp

Thanks in advance. お願いします!
